EVENT NOTES

GOF-South 2023: April 2023

GOF-South 2023 runs from mid-Day Thursday, April, 20 through to mid-day Sunday, April, 23. Pre-Registration is now Closed, limited new Registrations will be available during the event.

All Events take place at the Host Hotel: The Best Western, Gateway Grand Hotel and Conference Center, Gainesville, FL 32606. These Include the Car Shows, Meet & Greet, Awards Banquet, Seminars, and the starting point for the Various Drive options.

On Arriving at the Hotel, after Checking in (if you have booked a room), please go to the Event Registration Table. Here you will find the Event Check-in; pick up your Name Badge, Goody Bag, Detailed Event Program, Car Show Windshield Placards, Regalia (if you elected to order items), and other Event Paraphernalia.

There are over One Hundred MG’s Registered and in excess of 200 People. If you find a line at the Registration Table please be patient as we have a significant number of people to Welcome.

Drives: For those who elected to Register your MG for one or more of the Drives, please download a copy of the Drive Route Instruction for those you registered for and bring them with you. Note that the drives are generally self guided. Long caravans of MGs are difficult to keep together due to other general traffic. Go Solo, or with a small group of friends. Although Drive Route Instructions have been carefully vetted your Cell Phone with a GPS application may be a useful tool. A distracted navigator may result in you getting lost.

Dust off and polish the MG, check the oil, water, tires, and ready your car to head out to the Best Western. We look forward to meeting all, y'all at GOF-South 2023.
